ENDURA is the 21st Century solution to the more limited performance and wear life of traditional AR Steels such as AR400, AR450, AR500 and AR550.
Simply put – ENDURA is both easier to work with and lasts much longer than AR steels, typically lasting 100% or longer than steels such as AR400 and AR500.
Unlike AR400, AR450 and AR500, ENDURA is a Work Hardening Steel, work hardening from 450BHN to 550BHN. This means ENDURA is softer when you need it for Machining and processing, but gets harder and harder one you put it into your application.
