AR 600 Steel Plate Information
TITUS AR 600 heat treated wear steel plate is intended for severe wear applications requiring a high degree of abrasion resistance.
Developed for ballistic protection, the AR 600 steel plate combines a high carbon level with Titus’s proven manganese, chrome/nickel chemistry to produce a steel with up to fifteen times the wear and abrasion resistance of ordinary steel.
Titus AR 600 is heat treated to provide a Brinell hardness range of 570 to 640 with a typical Brinell hardness of 627.
